Currently we are launching a new service within our company, which is historical consulting.

The biggest project we've worked on as consultants so far was researching data on specific periods of Moscow history for the Canadian History Channel (Pixcom) filming project 'Trashopolis'. We also gave expert interviews on Medieval and Soviet Moscow history in the film.

You are welcome to watch

Scope of services:

- Researching information as per request in Russian archives;
- Networking: helping to establish connections with Russian historians;
- Historical consulting for films, books, games, etc.

The core:
Olga Malashkina works on subjects relating to Medieval and Soviet Moscow history (e.g. GULAG related topics), relations between Russia and the Western world, and is currently doing a thesis on the history of Russian prerevolutionary entrepreneurship.
Tatiana Sazonova is doing a thesis at the Russian Academy of Sciences on administrative-territorial transformations in Central Russia in the first quarter of the XX century. She has a master’s degree in history from the Russian State Humanitarian University, Institute of History and Archives. The latter is one of the oldest of the leading historical institutes in Moscow, having been set up by Stalin in 1934 after a period of suppression of historical education in the USSR.

Our consulting techniques are based on profound archival research, interpretation, data collection, analysis and further structuring to produce the most objective final results. We have extensive connections in Russian history circles and access to all the leading archives of the country.
